Awake at 0230 & as I often do, picked up my cell phone to read my online Bible app. But a song came to mind, something about the relentless love of God chasing after me." Which brought to mind "the Hound of Heaven" which I didn't know was a poem. Anyway SS I searched, here was found this beautiful study on the Holy Spirit! Though I read it thru too quickly because the lateness of the hour, what a blessing! And I saved the link for I must return to study this tomorrow. It came to me, " have you yet fully surrendered to the Lord? Jesus is soon to come! There's work to do!
Help me Holy Spirit! Reply from JPN: Nice! Yeah it is an incredible poem written by a man who had an incredible testimony himself, having experienced the work of the Holy Spirit in chasing down those He is after! Glad you liked the study and hope you got some sleep afterwards!

Help a sister out, since you are full of humour and laughter, it's hard to imagine you down, given the big assignment you have (your purpose) are there times you feel or felt lost, like you are in the wilderness, or in a maze, where despite praying and bible study (religiously) you find yourself wondering, and questioning, am I really touching God, am I in alignment, He is evidently silent. And you are also sure that you aren't living in sin...but still.... How do I experience "Christ in me hope of glory" how does one come out of such, Its like making petitions to a silent judge.
Reply from JPN: Hi, quite a few of the studies that I've written have actually come out of trying times when life was hard and heaven seemed silent. In fact they have probably been some of the better ones that people relate to! And it isn't that God isn't there or doesn't care... but He desires to teach us to live by faith, not sight. Be encouraged - Such times are not unusual in the Christian life. The message of 'Christ in you' isn't a feeling but a fact to be reckoned on. I would look again at what the Lord has done for you and just concentrate on that. Read the first three chapters on Ephesians and thank God for all the things that it says are true of you as a believer. Use the prayers in those chapters as your own prayers. May God Bless.

Hi JPN., I made a big mistake in saying that I noticed you referred to the Holy Spirit as 'it'. I discovered it was not on your site and I am terribly sorry for my mistake. I am 76years young, but that is no excuse. Actually, my born-again age is 43 years young. Please forgive me and I really do enjoy JPN studies, and especially as you are from my side of the Equator.

This study was super good for me and my wife today. A God send I believe. My wife fell about an hour ago (better now) and I was here keeping her compay while reading Exodus. I came to Amelek and wondered , why is Amelek a type of the flesh. I searched that and it took me to your post. My wife said what are you reading. So I read her your words on Amelek. We found it so helpful. So thank you. I think it will help us a lot as we go forward in our walk with the LORD.

This teaching you have has been so beneficial to me....when the Lord led me to read about Elijah and Elisha I was not aware of the different places Elijah had to walk before he was caught up in the chariot of fire. I am still studying this and it has been a great help to me to understand the different places. Thank you so much for this understanding written and the scriptures with it.

I do not have a firm stand on eschatology. I read the Bible at face value. Is there a study taking timelines of Matthew 24, Luke 21 AND Daniel AND NT writers AND Revelation into account? When I read Matt 24 it parallels Rev 6; wars, famine, persecution, terror... And Matt 24 says Jesus will send his angels to gather his elect after the abomination of desolation and the sun and moon are darkened, In addition Paul writes we will be caught up at the last trumpet within the context of explaining the first resurrection, which is in Rev 20.

I am enjoying this study and finding and testing out information I didn't know or understand, its great! However I have noticed that JPN refers to the Holy Spirit as 'IT'. when He is the 3rd person of the Godhead., He is to be referred to as 'He' not 'it'.
Reply from JPN: Hi, glad you are enjoying Revelation. We do refer to the Holy Spirit as 'He' or one of the titles given in scripture. Please let us know what study you were reading that had 'it' so we can check/fix 'it'. Thanks!
