I somehow googled a question about why I haven't received the Holy Ghost and your Q & A popped up. However, I was further lead to keep reading other topics.... found myself taking notes on To worship in Spirit and in Truth. I am Pentecostal and I guess I felt a little like the person who asked the question on receiving the Holy Ghost after baptism. I looked at Your About (you) colomn and found that we share similar beliefs. I was looking for a subscription for alerts on studies but now that I know the name I just keep looking you up for extra studies to meditate on. Thank You! God Bless You!

I have a question about the likelihood that the parable of the prodigal son is a prophecy regarding israel in the last days.. and or the church. Regards Susan Reply from JPN: Hi, you could draw an application concerning Israel coming back in the last days, but it isn't primarily about that. All three parables in Luke 15 answer the accusation of the Pharisees in 15:2 that Jesus receives and welcomes sinners - so He gives three stories showing the joy from each member of the trinity when a sinner repents. Just read one of your dialogues with. Another Christian. I accepted Jesus as Savior at age 10 in Chicago. I'm part of a men's bible study in florida.. We are going through romans each week using pastor steve cole material. I believe in eternal security but-- there are passages in Bible, eg Galatians 5:19 to 21 and elsewhere, in NT where some teach if you have a lifestyle of sin in one or more of these areas, " you will not inherit the kingdom of God ". Eg you won't go to Heaven. Your thots?

Hey, I have a question on if I truly believe or if I’m just plagued by the temptation to not believe.
All my life I’ve been a believer. Except until recently, I’d been more asleep. Now I’ve awakened but with that awakening, I’ll be rattled with doubts. I’ll read the Bible and then consider: “Is this really real? Was He just another good teacher?” I know how there are people who will stumble over the message of Christ and due to the hardness of their hearts, they do not believe. Elisha How far do you want to go

I just got a prayer shawl and it was my hope that it would turn it into a prayer mantle to pass down and as such I wanted to study the story of Elijah and Elisha again. Just re-reading the story I knew there had to be special meaning about these places but never put it together like this until this article. All incredibly important steps of a spiritual life! I ask the Lord that he would give me a double portion and enable me to pass this mantle ( of continuing the journey) to my family. Pray for that as I am childless- like Elijah I want a legacy and like Elisha I desire Abba Father!

The N.T doesn't teach us to hand on clothing but there is no greater legacy that a mother can pass down than to teach her children about the reality of the living Lord Jesus and our need to trust Him on a daily basis.
