The Title says it all Jesus and nothing else. I have those moments you call "what manner of God is this".
God is true to His word. He does dwell, live, is seated so to speak in the hearts of the contrite and humble.

I can in fact conjure up moments that knock me off my socks in worship. I simply think about the awesomeness of God and begin to confess out of my mouth his greatness. I am in awe of who he is. What he knows his very existence.... and that with all of that he love me. A speck of dust on a speck of dust. It goes beyond what I can fathom. Who is this God that would consider me?
Reply from JPN: Yeah, awesome... very well said! We certainly get those moments of revelation at His greatness and our smallness. It reminds me of Peter, blessed by Jesus with a boat bursting with fish, getting a glimpse of who it was that was in the boat with him. And his response to the Lord's goodness was 'Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!' The goodness of God worked contrition and Jesus replied (loose translation!) 'Do not be afraid. You are the type of person I can and will use!' (Luke 5:5-11)

Smile I have been searching for scripture(s) that speaks of quickening of sin in the last days. You phrase it as 'acceleration'. Thanks for the lesson! I knew I wasn't crazy with this concept.

The HS has been quickening in my heart/spirit and I am extremely grateful that the Lord has chosen me before the foundation of the world. Smile
Reply from JPN: Thanks - yeah things are accelerating. Not just wickedness but prophetic pointers as well, all according to God's plan and word in advance. Blessed are those that take rest in Him!

I’m trying to understand should a pastor always feel like he always has a Word from God and actually admit that when he is preaching that he can say I always have a message and it’s God that gave it to me. Because I don’t feel that way just because you’re a leader because I feel God uses others in the service that are not pastors that God can give them the message and we as leaders should recognize that and let them give what God has given them. I’m trying to understand that because our pastor has had a stroke and up in age and I’ve never seen or heard him say at all times that God gave him every message.
Reply from JPN: Hi, yeah I understand your concern. God can and does lay topics/thoughts/words on our heart but I'm personally very wary of those that are always saying 'this is from God'. Lots of unscriptural messages have been given in God's name so we need to be reverent and very careful when saying something is from Him. The Bible says study to show yourself approved (2 Tim 2:15). As we do that, with prayer, God directs our steps in teaching. God has given us His word and all scripture is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and instruction (2 Tim 3:16). I also agree that God uses others in the congregation to speak through as well, and that when we come together each should at least have the opportunity to share something edifying. Doesn't often work that way in todays Church but it is scriptural (1 Cor 14:26). Hope things work out for you and your church.

The bible seals have the seventh seal giving the trumpets to the angels so how does this play out in the order? Rev. 8:2

Rev. 8:6 "So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound..

Thank you for the great resource you have created here and I feel blessed to have found it. In love
Reply from JPN: Hi, I have a different view than most (but not all) concerning the seals and trumpets as I see them overlapping and not strictly consecutive. I have written about that in the following Q&A and also talk about the 7th seal near the end of the Rev 6 study. Hope it helps! Smile

Very good read, and I thank you for your putting this together. I was doing a study of the two Olive trees and the two lamp stands when I ended up finding this post. (I really am not sure now how it came about other than God's leading). I truly believe that most of the people (even within the churches) are dead asleep in this very hour, and God has been giving many shakings to get the people to awaken, but many are no longer just asleep, but are actually dead, and it will only be by a miracle of resurrection power that will cause them to come awakened and live for the purposes of the Kingdom
Reply from JPN: Thanks and yeah, unfortunately large parts of the church won't even preach on prophecy or the end times despite what is going on in the world. Jesus told up to be alert and watch!

Wow.
I love the Exposition given on Isaiah 45:9. In fact it has broadened my knowledge on The Word, and while studying, it has directed me to other verses of the Bible in line with what you have shared.
I have even gone to the extent to screenshot the conclusion part and to share on my status for all to read, and I will share the link for all to read and follow.

God bless you. And More Grace . Smile
Reply from JPN: Oh... thank you! I will have to go and re-read my conclusion now! Smile May God bless!

This is a great study. Pastor was delivering a message on Neh 3 and Holy Spirit highlighted the gates to me and I found this, great points for prayer as well.
Reply from JPN: Good on you for following God's lead and looking further into this topic. There is a lot hidden in those gates!

I'm leading a Men's Bible Study on Daniel, and we're currently ready to start chapter 3. Google listed your study as one of many links, but I was lead to click on it, and it's been a refreshing view on this age-old story. Found a couple of observations that I plan to work into this weeks study.

Thanks for what you're doing. May His blessings be many upon you!
Reply from JPN: Thank you! May He bless your study group as well. Hope it goes well.

Hey! How does one find the numerical number of a name? Thanks
Reply from JPN: Hi, there are websites that do it if you google Gematria calculator but can't vouch for the accuracy. You should be entering the Hebrew or Greek words/names, not English, if you are looking up something from the Bible.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me this afternoon said I’m gonna rule and reign with the God in the ages to come. As I pondered it l was immediately pulled to your teaching on the matter and what confirmation⁉️
Check out Ronald Odell or Ron Odell on TikTok or YouTube I’m pushing 50,000 views. All I do is give One minute reels/shorts. I am an absolute nobody totally invisible. I get no support financially & don’t care, but you’re the real deal. I may have to sow a $ seed into your ministry, so I can partnership with your anointing,
Reply from JPN: Thanks Ron, glad you got some confirmation. Jesus is the "real deal" and we (as the saying goes) are all beggars telling other beggars where to find bread!

I appreciate your study here. Here are my studies on David's possible age at the time of the encounter with Goliath...
In Jewish culture a male was considered a boy until about age 12, (the bar mitzvah today). At that time he was considered a youth.
At 20 he was considered physical mature and could join the army, but still seen as a youth and not taken seriously in his words or ways (David's brothers response)
At 30, he was now an adult and would be taken seriously by society. That reflects in Jesus beginning his ministry at age 30.
So David could have been in his 20's when he fought Goliath.
Reply from JPN: Hi and thanks for the points. Glad you liked the study. They could serve in the army at 20 (Num 1:3). Given David's desire to fight those that defied the God of Israel, and with three older brothers already in Israel's army, I believe if he was 20 he would have already joined. So it seems he was not of that age yet and most commentators believe he was mid to late teens. But the Bible doesn't say specifically so not being dogmatic and it is his faith that is the important point Smile

I've been studying Revelation for awhile. I have been using John Gill and Adam Clarke commentaries, but when it comes to this particular book they have it all wrong. I don't know how I got to your website but I'm fairly certain the HS guided me here! I am so grateful. Cool
Reply from JPN: Hi and thanks - I haven't read those particular writers on Revelation but certainly there are many older commentaries that over-spiritualized the book and/or missed the role that Israel plays in the last days. Pleased that you are enjoying our studies!

I’ve read the entire Bible about 50+ times in my lifetime and am still reading; however, I never thought that Jesus was typified in each book.
Thanks for this awakening and for your diligent work. I love him more for who he is, my Risen Savior, Lord, and King. Maranatha!
Reply from JPN: Thanks Nancy - always a blessing to see that the whole Bible is about Him whether we are just starting out or have read it through as many times as you!

Praise God for this thorough study on the book of Revelation. Thank you for sharing it. God bless you more for sharing His Word of Truth. Smile In love
Reply from JPN: Really pleased you like it. I have always loved Revelation (as full on as it is!) and have wanted to write a study on it from a long time, focusing on that which I would like to read in such a series. So if others like it and benefit from it, all the better! Smile

Thank you for this thorough study. I’ve been in church all my life and never heard the Nisan connection between all these events until 4 days ago. While searching online to verify and learn more I found this article. Very thorough and completely aligns with what I heard previously. What an awesome God we serve!
Reply from JPN: Thanks - and yeah He is an awesome God who uses patterns and prophecy to declare the end from the beginning!

03 April 2024 - In reading Acts 5:1-11, I found myself with questions. I “googled” ‘Acts 5 explained’ and clicked on this link which, not only was one of my questions (submitted by a reader) but I also found your explanation brilliantly clear and inspiring. Thank you for being His servant!
Reply from JPN: Good that you found it clear. That's a goal which I don't always achieve! Smile
