Questions about Christian who have died

Thank you for clear Biblical answers. I do believe that when we are absent from the body that we are present with the Lord…but was confused about bones in the graves rising on Christ’s return…your responses make the scriptures clear. Thank you.
Reply from JPN: Hey... Pleased it clarified that for you. Yes, for the believer, absent from the body is present with the Lord... instantly!

I always believe God never waste words like if he speaks something it's kinda different dimensional like physically he is saying something and spiritually saying something at this point I am talking about the old testament stories and as you always mention that someone said "old testament conceals the new testament" it's always fun for me to read and understand old testament from that angle but when it comes to names like for example tribal or clan names which is listed in many chapters continually what do you think and understand when you are personally going through those list and chapters
Reply from JPN: Yeah I love the Old Testament for that very reason. And yes, the more we understand the many layers of God's word, the more we see that there are no insignificant parts - even in genealogies and lists of names! A lot of these things may await revelation in heaven to truly see what God placed within His word, but it is always exciting when we see Gospel truth hidden in places we least expected it!

I so enjoy reading your commentaries during my devotion. They are lessons that truly teach. I just finished Ruth and I am here digging for 1 Samuel but can't find it. Can I tell u how disappointed I am. May God continue to bless u richly as u continue to tell us about his word in ways we can understand and apply.
Reply from JPN: Oh, sorry to disappoint with no 1 Sam but hard to do all of the Bible. There is a series on David partly from there. Glad you have enjoyed Ruth, which is a fantastic little book!

Question
|
My uncle grew up as a non-practicing Catholic. I feel confident that for his whole life he believed Jesus was Gods son. That Jesus died for our sins…about 10 years ago, he was around 50yrs, I was blessed to lead him in a prayer of salvation, over the phone. He accepted Jesus as his savior. Within a week or two, Jehovah witnesses knocked on his door. They came back weekly to study the Bible with him. He has been a faithful Jehovah Witness since. They don’t believe in the deity of Jesus that he is the son of God.
Do you think there will be a lot of Jws in Heaven, including my uncle? Reply from JPN: Hi, God knows those that are His (2 Tim 2:19) and if your Uncle is a child of God then he would/will come out of the JW organization for they have changed God's word hiding the deity of Jesus (Rev 22:18-19), they have a 'different Jesus' (2 Cor 11:4) and a 'different gospel' of works (Gal 1:6-9). Keep praying for him as I am sure you do. There are many ex-JWs that God has revealed the truth to. Some encouraging testimonies are here:
