Though having studied Daniel and Revelation in end times studies my study of Ezekiel has been nil. The detail initially viewed at this website appears to cover exactly the preliminary reading subject material that will enhance my study of Ezekiel , thank you.
Reply from JPN: Thanks Herb - all three are important books for this day in which we live!

Sir this is the video I was watching:
... Everything seemed right until the last 25 to 30 min minutes until the person started speaking about the relationship between following Sabbath and mark of the beast interesting he took out lot of Bible verses in relation to that since from my spirit or mind I always felt every day is a holy day because of what Jesus did so I didn't focus on those verses but still when a person seems saying everything right and finally saying something that's not seems true it's really disturbs so wat do u think about this? Reply from JPN: Hi, yeah it shouldn't sit right. This is a Seventh Day Adventist Youtube channel and he is just stating traditional SDA teaching on the sabbath, America, papacy, the mark of the beast etc. There is both biblical and early church fathers (1st and 2nd century) support for meeting on the 1st day of the week (long before the Roman Catholic church, which I am no fan of either) and you are right that 'in Christ' the rest is 'today' (every day) as Hebrews 4 tells us. I have written about these things here: https://jesusplusnothing.com/series/post/Sabbath

It has been a blessing. My bible study has been shaped. God bless you guys for the good works. I pray younger ones take over this great assignment.
Reply from JPN: Ha! Yeah, we are getting old. Slowing down. Eyesight's going. Struggling to finish... um something... I forget!
Oh ok, maybe, just maybe, your prayer was for the work of the Gospel in general and not us in particular! Blessings! |

Trying to find commentary for PS 19:12-14

Everything on your site looks beautiful, love the pictures, do you have any thing for teaching artists in God's view of artists? I mean who draw/paint (which I try my best to do in Christian subjects)? There's so little about that, it's not mentioned as a spiritual gift in the new testament, yet the Lord told me He cares very much about my drawings (am only an amateur)
Reply from JPN: Hi Astrid. Thanks - glad you like the look and pictures on the site. I don't have anything for artists specifically but here are a couple of general 'whatevers' from the Bible:
Ecc 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. Col 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. My Mum is an artist, painting various subjects, but she often came back to the beauty of God's creation in flowers and landscapes - for it all speaks and points to the wonderful Creator! (Rom 1:20) And God can and will use your artwork as you do it unto Him and ask Him to bless and use it. May God bless and happy painting! |

Speaking in tongues....
|
Mmmmm i don't know why but it seems my mind won't sleep after 4 am. Thank you for responding to Isaiah 45. I am very awake wondering, when we speak in tongues it's for our edification the bible says!...but how sure am I the tongues are real? We read it's the Spirit praying through us...is it possible the devil could do the same (hijack it) ..... how and what should translate from tongue speaking......
Blessings. Reply from JPN: Hi, another early rise aye?! I will email. Thx.

Hello what about The Talmud of Immanuel? Please research and respond because I know how Rome twisted everything including some parts of the new testament. From the beginning of time the devil always changes and twists God's word. If they could change The Holy day of God and give us a wrong day, change the date of His son's birth why won't they also change God's name and that of his son? I am just a seeker but I believe that The Holy Spirit teaches us the truth. And because something is generally accepted doesn't make it the truth. We all know that Rome composed The book called The Holy Bible
Reply from JPN: Hi, there are definitely church teachings that have been corrupted but God's word hasn't. You can trust His word as He promised to keep and preserve it (Psalm 12:6-7, Matt 5:18, John 10:35). The books of the New Testament were generally accepted and recognized as scripture by the early church (with debate over a few) before officially 'canonized'. All of scripture is given for our growth and teaching (2 Tim 3:15-17). Both scripture and the early church (not the Roman Catholic church) recognized Sunday (the day of resurrection) as the day to come together (Act 20:7, 1 Cor 16:2).

Saving the best for last

"Saving the best for last". What a glorious and timely reminder of what awaits us... and very likely , in the not too distant future. "Even so , when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near "- Luke 21:31 Come soon Lord Jesus!
Reply from JPN: Yeah! He definitely is saving the best for last and none of His own will be disappointed! Glad you liked the study and thanks for letting us know.

It's 4 am, can't sleep and I find myself here, must admit it's like you had just taken coffee as it's a lengthy read but much needed. The chess player summary has encouraged and assured me of A God who never gives up on us no matter what. That if a door I am to enter is on left and I turn right, He in His sovereignty will work to ensure I enter the intended door. you don't know how much this has lifted me. "Am chopping onions as I type" lastly why isn't it biblical to believe by His stripes we were healed of all diseases from your example of the American pastor who got his voice back. Grazie.
Reply from JPN: Hi Ruth, glad you liked it and hope you got some sleep after that! I will write a Q&A on the 'by His stripes we are healed' question and let you know when done.
