Thank so much for this bible study/commentary. I was torn between the different views on the woman in Revelation 12 but thankfully by the power of HOLY SPIRIT I was lead to your commentary on that and it did really blessed me. I pray for more Grace from above for your labour in God's vineyard.
Reply from JPN: Nice! Always good when you get clarity on a passage with different interpretations. Appreciate your prayer!

Assurance of salvation inquiry

I just wanted to reach out to say your correspondence to Esther, the one who was struggling with assurance of salvation blessed me and comforted me! Esther shared my whole heart and your response to her was what I needed some months ago and even in this moment where I’m feeling a bit lost but I just came here to thank you. I truly needed what you shared! And I’m currently enjoying the book Grace Plus Nothing you recommended to her. In addition to thanking you, I am hoping I can request prayer for my husband and I regarding finding a church that teaches sound doctrine. Thank you and God bless u
Reply from JPN: Oh that is so cool. Really pleased that you were helped with that response. Will pray for God's leading concerning a church. It can be tricky without His leading! I live on the other side of the world but I have been blessed by some of the Calvary Chapel churches online. And they began in California. There is also Rock Harbor's recommended church list here that may help:

I enjoyed reading this article. A lot of work went into this I can tell. The important part to me is the 1st resurrection I believe Matthew chapter 24 verses 29 tells us the resurrection was immediately after the tribulation. I might mention that I believe the tribulation has started on September 16,2023. I also believe the 83rd psalm will come any day now and must be before the Great Trib which is 3 1/2 years from the Tishri 1 date last year. the 6th seal could be anytime but I believe it will be Passover 2027. The Great Trib will be 360 day years which changed in 701BC I've run out of space.
Reply from JPN: Thanks - we would see some of these things differently, like whether the tribulation has begun, but we're certainly both looking for His return so thanks for dropping by and for the note!

Tribulation 144,000 sealed

I’m amazed at how similar what you teach, is to what I’ve been taught in the last few years.
Do you teach about The Mystery, revealed by the apostle Paul and that he (Paul) is the apostle to the gentiles? I’ve not run across this yet, and wonder if you teach that way. Your name “Jesus +NotThing” implies that to me. Very interesting site, nonetheless! Reply from JPN: Thanks - I think there are about 8 'mysteries' that Paul revealed from the Lord. He was set apart by Jesus as His servant and was an Apostle to the Gentiles (Acts 9:15, Romans 11:13, 15:16). Though it isn't a different gospel from what Peter preached (as some claim). See here:

The Kingdom of heaven likened to leaven
|
Although snake is a negative character in the Bible, in Matthew 10:16, Jesus advises his disciples to be "shrewd as snakes and innocent as doves." Likewise, leaven is used here to describe the Kingdom of Heaven's pervasive and transformative nature, emphasizing its ability to permeate and influence the world around it. In Mathew 13:33 33 Jesus told them a r parable.: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven". Since it is a simile I believe Jesus says Heaven = Leaven, where He didn't mean Heaven is 'evil or sin'.
Reply from JPN: Hi, yeah we see this differently. The kingdom parables are speaking of 'the kingdom of Heaven' on earth, not about heaven itself. Jesus was not saying heaven = leaven. The Jews were very familiar with leaven because of their feasts and wouldn't have taken leaven in a positive way. It is not used in a positive sense in Biblical typology. Jesus Himself used it in a negative sense saying 'beware of the leaven of the Pharisees', 'beware of the leaven of the Sadducees' and 'beware of the leaven of Herod'.

Revelation & Rapture
|
Thank you! Finally, someone who sees what I've been seeing when I read the Bible. I believe everything in it and want to believe the truth. Years ago, I was reading through Revelations. When I got to the part describing the saints being killed, I knew that the rapture had not taken place in the text. Most of the pre-tribulation believers claim that God will not pour out his wrath onto his people. This is true. Yet, here are the Christians in the midst of the tribulation. The anti-christ's activity is not the wrath of God. The church needs to get ready by living everyday for Jesus and trust.
Reply from JPN: Hi, sorry, not wanting to burst your bubble but I see the rapture taking place after the messages to the churches (representing the church age) and before any of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments begin. So I believe it is pictured in Rev 4:1-2 when heaven opens and John is caught up at the sound of the trumpet and the command of God - to see what occurs 'after this'.

Joel gave me more information on what to be aware of during the tribulation than the whole bible !
Made it easier to explain to others. Reply from JPN: Joel is a great book on prophecy and what is to come. Glad that it was understandable.
