I was just speaking with my friend in New York (over the phone,) about the two witnesses turning up at the temple site and he said he didn’t think that was correct, so in searching to find out for sure, I came across your “post”?
Anyway, I just wanted to say I am really enjoying this read. (I like how you wrote this piece.) Only halfway through but looking forward to finishing this and reading more of your work/thoughts, et al.
Blessings Bro!
Roy

Reply from JPN: Thanks Roy - hope you got to finish it off and yeah, plenty of others to explore if you like that one. Blessings!

Thanks for the insight. With everything happening at warp speed in Israel, I love to rest in what God says!!
Reply from JPN: Thanks Tom and very good advice... it is very important that we find our rest in Him and His word in this crazy world. There is no other place to rest!

Happy Resurrection Day! May you be greatly blessed as you have been a great blessing to me through the years!
Thank you for this precious ministry. I have learned so much from you. One of the most beautiful things, though, is how
the LORD is ever-present in my life and how He has nurtured and strengthened me through your teachings time and again.
May God bless you and yours today and always Smile
Reply from JPN: Oh, that's great Leslie. Love hearing that the Lord is ever-present in your life! And thanks so much for your support over many many years. Hope you have a great resurrection day and may God bless you and your family. Smile

I learned of the correlation between Christ and the tola’ath worm last week in a Bible Study at North Ridge Bible Chapel in Raleigh. I am 76 years old and had never understood this reference before. I curiously went searching for more online and came to your site which I totally appreciated. May God bless you and keep you doing what you are doing. Thank you for your mission. It has inspired me greatly.
Reply from JPN: Thanks for the comment and yeah, it is the hidden 'I am' - One rich in significance and meaning. Blessing to you and your Church.

The oil is the cristos oil at the pineal gland. You run out of that and you replace it with another would make you double minded then and not fit for the kingdom of God. Trim your wick and keep your light burning ( on your mind ) until the bridegroom Jesus comes back for his church.
Reply from JPN: Thanks for the comment and info Pat. And yeah, may we all be found watching and ready for the coming of the Bridegroom!

Loved the series on Ruth. Agree that the unnamed "closest relative" that couldn't redeem Ruth was representative of the law and you explained why so beautifully. I wonder if the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the garden of Eden represents the law, which Paul clearly states produces death and gives us the knowledge of good and evil. The lie that Satan tempted Eve was that she could make herself like God by partaking of "the law" or good works. And because they partook, then they realized that they were naked. Paul said that "since through the law comes knowledge of sin" [Romans 3:2]
Reply from JPN: Thanks Janet. Ruth is one of my favourite books Smile Good comments on the tree of knowledge of good & evil. I would agree that the two trees in the Garden give a strong pointer to living by the law or by His life. In other words, law or grace, religion or relationship, independence (even while trying to be 'good'Wink or dependence (knowing that without Him we can do nothing!). Blessings!

I can't wait to reveal it to others in my fellowship that I've been tremendously been blest, When we see Gods plan n the small plans/patterns building up to n pointing to Jesus am totally Amazed at his Infinite wisdom even to written scriptures, a veil has peeled off, easier to understand those new testament books that are Witten in brief coz the big story is in the Old Testament. Looking out for more of that manna, seeing our Jesus better greater understanding God bless may he shine brighter in you for even greater revelations to those in the dark Amen
Reply from JPN: Smile Awesome. It is always great when we see that all of the word is about Jesus! The Old Testament certainly comes alive then. Pleased to have helped a little in that.

I just discovered your site… Very curious, and pleasantly surprised. Looks interesting…..will continue to browse.
Thoughts on “The Bride of Christ”? Have you ever heard of a “NEW TESTAMENT PATTERN” church structure? Thoughts on the modern day relevance of the “5 Fold Ministry?

Thanks!
Reply from JPN: Hi, yeah have a look around. There are several studies on the bride of Christ. For example:
https://jesusplusnothing.com/series/post/the-counterpart-bride-the-second-eve
As a younger Christian I read a few books on how the early Church met (and what was different from today) but haven't focused on it recently and haven't specifically heard about the 'New Testament Pattern' church structure. I believe that God still equips the Church with each of the giftings of Eph 4:11 though Apostles and Prophets don't speak in the same authoritative sense as was the case with Paul, Peter, James etc in the establishment of the Church. The first century Apostles & Prophets were unique in that sense, laying down the truth of the New Testament through the Holy Spirit, and thus are said to be part of 'foundation' of the Church (Eph 2:20)

Wouldn’t let me use contact page
So, I’ll post here

Good vid

This was left out-
Let’s see if there’s a hidden message here-
2025- April 13 thru 20
verses from the beginning of the Bible. 25413 thru 25420
Luke 11:7 thru 11:14
April 13th->
7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.-
April 14th->
8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him
Reply from JPN: Thanks - we are sorting the contact page. We certainly live in interesting times and Jer 49 concerning Elam is very relevant. But I've seen too many 'sure-thing' dates that people have 'calculated' come and go over the decades to pay much attention to them anymore tbh. But we should pay attention to what God has revealed in His word!

Study Viewed: A Debate on Eternal Security
Hello,
I am thankful for your Bible studies from which I am learning a great deal about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have several question regarding John 15:1-11.
1. What is the Biblical meaning of abiding?
2. Who are the branches Jesus is referring to?
3. Please explain verse 2 especially the taking away.
4. Is it good to use the Parable of the Sower in relation to bearing fruits?
5 Verse 6 is scary confusing. Will the branches who do not bear fruits be cast into hell?
6. Is verse 6 indicating that once saved is not always saved?
Thanks for all of your help
Naomi G..
Reply from JPN: Hi, yeah the first part of John 15, especially verses 2 and 6 have long been debated. Abiding in this passage I believe, is living in fellowship and dependence upon Jesus, who is the life giving vine. I've written a little about some of these questions in the following pages:
https://jesusplusnothing.com/series/post/john152
https://jesusplusnothing.com/series/post/eternalsecurity2 (question 6 & 7 especially). Blessings!

Glory and honor to God!!! Blessings upon the JPN family!!!
Reply from JPN: Yeah that is a good call out - I often get a bit lazy with the Q&A summaries thinking the question title will do... appreciate the feedback Smile We don't currently have Hebrews apart from Ch 11 but it is coming next.

Doing the crucifixion chapters, I refuse to call them bible stories, for our children’s talk at the fellowship.
I plan to major on the darkness for 3 hours, the veil torn, the quake and rocks rent and opened graves and saints appearing.
Hardly usual...
I was looking back for the fact that this death was Gods plan in all ‘ages’.

Thank you.
A coherent readable study in the early hours here.
Reply from JPN: Sounds like the children will get some really interesting and important truth! Glad you liked study on the plan before the foundation of the world. And it was even 'coherent'... I must be improving! Smile
